How User Retargeting Works
Step 1
As potential prospects visit an advertiser's site, a ValueClick Media tracking pixel is placed on specified pages to identify the user with a unique tracking parameter.

Step 2
When users visit sites in the ValueClick Media network, targeted creative leads them back to the advertiser's site to complete an action or sale.
